OVERVIEW
The Core Valley Line Infrastructure Redevelopment is one of the three key areas part of the Wales & Borders scheme led by KeolisAmey on behalf of TfW. The scheme reflects the Welsh Government's commitment to provide passengers with an enhanced quality of service by improving timeliness, increasing service in areas requiring additional capacity and improving the aging rolling stock & depot facilities.

OUR INVOLVEMENT
FJD Consulting have been commissioned by Amey on behalf of Transport for Wales to undertake a wide range of design and consultancy services across multiple engineering disciplines:
Station redevelopment multidisciplinary design including:
o Foundation design;
o Platform extensions on existing platform;
o New Up platform;
o New Bridge design including ramps;
o Level boarding design;
o Fencing design.
o BIM Coordination;
o Production of 2D & 3D models and fly through videos;
o Environmental enhancements engineering support.
